WordPond vs Foleon
Wordpond is the dynamic and modern alternative to Foleon for publishing content, focused on design, growth, and monetization.
WORDPOND is best for
FOLEON is good for
Three solid reasons to choose Wordpond over Foleon.
Reason number one: Focus.
Wordpond means long-form content like impact reports, magazines, periodicals or any issue-based periodical. Foleon is a 'one-size-fits-all' tool. They offer brochures, proposals, catalogs, pitch decks, not only magazines, reports, etc.
We would love to find a magic tool that does everything wonderfully, but we have yet to find one. Focus and specialization allow Wordpond to be the best at what we do.
If you want to create magazines, periodicals, newsletters, journals, and the like, Wordpond should be your choice. The platform is dedicated to this type of communication and is quickly developing and adding features.
If you are looking for sales enablement tools, proposals, and similar tools, there are other tools besides Wordpond. We encourage you to look at Foleon and its competitors in that field.
Reason number two: Your end-customer content experience.
Foleon has a very distinctive user experience and navigation. It was built when Foleon wasn't even named Foleon. Tastes differ. You might like it or not, but you can't change it.
Foleon will hard-sell you on how good this user experience is, but it is far from a modern New York Times-level experience. The New York Times knows a thing or two about readership and providing good reader experiences.
Here is a quote from one of the Foleon reviews: "A lot of our customers did not like the experience of the magazine that we produced."
Reason number three: Price.
Whenever a company does not publicly publish its pricing model, it usually spells bad news, meaning it is expensive. If you have a price quote from Foleon, let us know if it beats Wordpond's price. We'll match it.
Reason number four: Scope and future.
Companies like Foleon and Wordpond aim to solve customers' problems. This goal translates into added features.
Compare, e.g., Foleon, which offers personalization—a handy tool in account-based marketing. Wordpond does not have this (yet). We prioritized having an ad server in our product since our magazine customers benefit from this feature with a higher ROI and financial benefit.
It is a smart choice to select a platform whose goals are aligned with yours.
